JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
SenioRx Coordinator
Beginning Salary Range: $37,639 – $40,533

Job Summary
In a team environment and as a team player, the SenioRx Coordinator is a full-time position with the South Central Alabama Development Commission Area Agency on Aging. The primary role of the SenioRx Coordinator is to screen, assist with the enrollment process, coordinate applications, and work with pharmaceutical companies and health care providers to help qualified individuals get their prescription medication at low or no cost.

Skills & Competencies
This position requires an energetic self-starter with proficient computer/software knowledge, good communication and interpersonal skills, who is reliable and well organized.

Credentials & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Development or closely related field and 2 years administrative/medication management skills. The candidate must also have a valid Alabama driver’s license.

Aging & Disability Resource Center Specialist
Beginning Salary: $35,639

Job Summary
In a team environment and as a team player, the Aging & Disability Resource Specialist is a full-time position with the South Central Alabama Development Commission Area Agency on Aging. The candidate shall provide administrative and program support to the resource center in educating older adults, caregivers, persons with disabilities and the general population about a full range of long-term programs and options available to them.

Skills & Competencies
This position requires good verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Software and computer skill is required as well as participation in the AIRS Certification program for professional working within the information and referral sector of human services.

Credentials & Experience
A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Services or closely related field is preferred. The candidate must also have a valid Alabama driver’s license.
