SCADC provides technical assistance to local governments in order to address essential community development needs in such areas as water and sewer services, transportation infrastructure, storm water drainage, housing rehabilitation, and recreation through various project initiatives.

SCADC also works with member governments to plan for future growth and development in relation to both local and regional settings.

As a part of the SCADC Planning and Economic Development Program, staff members constantly monitor grant opportunities and application deadlines.
