City of Luverne to Improve Water

Governor Kay Ivey has awarded the City of Luverne $350,000 from the CDBG Small City fund to improve the City’s water system infrastructure. Water services and water mains will be replaced along 12 streets. Additional fire hydrants will be installed for improved fire protection. Each street will be resurfaced as a result of the water system improvements.
